Domodedovo International Airport continues improving quality of its services for passengers with a particular emphasis on installing the most up-to-date technologies and bringing the latest IT achievements into life. In the framework of the programme of enhancing information services for passengers Domodedovo Airport along with the “Inform-mobil” service will offer a new opportunity to check flight status starting from September 1, 2005.
      SMS alerts will allow passengers to get information on current flight status and its changes on their mobile phones. At any time having sent an SMS to number 9966 one can learn the current status of a flight, get information on check-in, boarding or a delay of a flight. Having sent an SMS to number 4040 a passenger will get messages on all changes of status of the flight, i.e. time of check-in, boarding, departure or arrival, as well as on delay or cancellation.
      To send a request message a passenger has to specify details of airline, number of flight, date and an airport of departure/arrival. For example, DME xx####dd.mm Airport, where:
      • DME – a mandatory entry for a request for this service; it is an international code of Domodedovo Airport;
      • xx – code of the airline that performs a flight (for example, S7), a mandatory attribute;
      • ### - flight number containing from 1 to 4 digits (a mandatory attribute);
      • dd.mm – a date of flight in the mentioned format (a mandatory attribute, if it is not stated a request will be regarded as for the current day);
      • Airport – a point of destination/departure, containing alphabetic characters (for example, Sochi) – an optional entry.
      A new service expands a range of SMS alerts. Since last May one has been able to subscribe to SMS alerts on up-date information from the Domodedovo airport official web-site’s (www.domodedovo.ru) “Flight Status” page. To use this service one can send SMS from its own mobile phone.
      Outgoing SMS to number 9966 costs for MTS users USD 0,10, for BeeLine and Megafon users – USD 0,15 (taxes not included). Outgoing SMS to number 4040 costs for MTS, BeeLine and Megafon users USD 0,75 (taxes not included).
