Former Russian Miss Beauty Anna Malova was jailed in New York for narcotics and shoplifting cases.
      
      Anna Malova was detained in February for stealing her doctor's prescription pad and forging prescriptions in order to buy Rx painkillers.
      
      According to TMZ.com, "Anna was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly pilfering a pair of sandals and a hat from a Manhattan clothing store ... and has since been charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny".
      
      Robert Gottlieb, Anna's lawyer, says: "She is very upset. She knows that she has a problem and she has been doing her very best to address it". The lawyer adds, that the shoplifting is just a nasty byproduct of her drug addiction, according to TMZ.com.
      
      Anna Malova was Miss Russia in 1998 and entered the top 10 in the Miss Universe pageant.
