Krasnodar Artists Create Design of Monument to Victims of Khromaya Loshad Tragedy

Group of Krasnodar artists headed by Andrey Blokhin and George Kuznetsov Recycle have developed a project of the monument to victims of the fire in the Perm night club Khromaya Loshad (Lame Horse).

The monument will represent a glass parallelepiped 1.5 to 1.5 meters wide and 5 meters high. According to the authors’ concept it will be assembled of sheets of armor glass, with a person’s contour on each sheet. When fixed together, they will make a relief figure, which is breaking through a veil of smoke will. From afar it will look as a large shining crystal, and on closer examination it a person’s figure will be visible inside of it.

The given project has been published by the director of the Perm Museum of Modern Arts Marat Guelman in his blog. He points out that it is not the only project version of the monument.
