The two-volume book - Chekhov's stories and comments to them – was prepared and published by request of the government of the Sakhalin Region for the 150th anniversary since the birth of the great Russian writer. The historian worked on the text for several years. Two volumes number 1200 pages, and have been published in circulation of 1 thousand copies.
