British prince Harry taking part in North Pole expedition cannot leave the Barneo camp in the Arctic Ocean. The problem is that a big crack appeared in the ice flow where this Russian polar explorers' camp is situated and An-74 aircraft sent to take Harry to Spitsbergen could not land.
The polar explorers have set about emergency rebuild of runway, because the British prince must leave the camp in 48 hours: his vacation is finishing and Harry is to return to his duty. Representatives of St. James's Palace said arrival delay of Queen's grandson could not be more than two days. If reparation of air strip on this flow fails, another airport should be created immediately on other one.
Prince Harry came to the Arctic with mission Walking With The Wounded : the team, walking to the North Pole, is aiming to raise £2m for charity.
The four servicemen, who were all injured in combat in Afghanistan, hope to enter the record books as the first disabled team to walk unassisted to the North Pole and raise money for Walking With The Wounded which helps injured troops.
