Several new and quite unusual monuments and sculptures will be set up in Omsk this year.
      
      The most emblematic will be the sculpture dedicated to Ivan Buhgolts, the founder of the first Omsk fortress. The monument will be set up at the confluence of Om and Irtysh, where a memorable gun already stands.
      
      Besides, a monument or a bust to Ivan Shpringer, the founder of the second fortress in Omsk, will be established inside the Omsk Fortress.
      
      Altogether there will be 18 sculptures on the territory of the Omsk Fortress; among them there will be quite original characters, from an imperial gendarme to a common market woman.
