Well-known Musician Alexander Barykin Passes Away

Popular rock musician, composer and singer Alexander Barykin died, aged 59, in Orenburg yesterday.
      The death was caused by an extensive heart attack which happened during a concert.
      Alexander Barykin was born on February, 18th 1952 in Beryozovo Village of the Tyumen Region. He became a professional musician in 1973. Apart from the ensembles Vesyolye rebyata and Carnival he was a member of the music bands Moskvichi and Zhemchug.
      He gained popularity mainly with his hits Bouquet, Programma peredach na zavtra and Ostrov. He collaborated with singers Alla Pugacheva, Vladimir Kuzmin, Igor Nikolaev, and composer David Tukhmanov.
