Kursk Militia Picks up Unique Treasure

Regional Archaeological Museum in Kursk Region has replenished with most valuable artifacts that “black diggers” tried to export.
      
      According to experts, the finds unearthed by black diggers in Fatezh District of Kursk Region will make it possible to restore a whole range of events in the history of the region.
      
      According to some data it was a burial place of the Huns dated to the late 4th – early 5th centuries. Among the found artifacts there were gold and silver ornaments with jewels which in those days decorated soldiers’ clothes of and horse harnesses.
      
      For the attempt of selling the treasures abroad the court has sentenced each of the “black diggers” to two years of imprisonment.
