Well-known People’s Artist of the RSFSR, outstanding cameraman Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Shumsky has died at the age of 89 at his home in Moscow.
Vyacheslav Shumsky started his career in cinematography with the film It started like this…” in 1956. Working together with film directors and script writers, Vyacheslav Shumsky created a number of legendary films. The most famous of them are 3+2 (1962), We'll Live Till Monday (1968), The Dawns Here Are Quiet (1972), White Bim Black Ear (1977).
Vyacheslav Shumsky’s last work was the film Trees Grow on the Stones Too (1985).
