Viktor Tsoi mounted
16.08.2005 12:03

Viktor Tsoi, Russian rock legend, the poet of changes, leader of the Kino band, might get a new lease of life near the Moscow State University. Mounted on a bike with the headlight broken, the artist will be seen by some 10,000 students camped and studying at the university.

Some are against the spot fearing the youth’s gatherings and violence. These concerns were one of the reasons why it is not Arbat, with its Tsoi’s wailing wall, to host the monument craftily performed by Aleksei Blagovestnov and backed up by Sergey Solovyov, who shot the ASSA movie, featuring Tsoi and his famous song Changes.
