On November 25, Russian Intourist company and British tour operator Thomas Cook Group announced a joint venture establishing.
      
      Thomas Cook Group was founded in 2007 by merging the British company My Travel and German Thomas Cook company. At this moment it's one of the hugest tour operators in Europe. Last year proceeds numbers 8,8 billion pounds. Almost all shares of Thomas Cook are traded.
      
      Thomas Cook was trying to enter the Russian market for several years. They held talks with some companies and finally signed an agreement with Intourist at London's World Travel Market.
