Monument to Viktor Tsoi to be Unveiled in Barnaul

20 November 2010 will see the ceremony of unveiling the monument to the legendary rock musician, leader of the KINO band Viktor Tsoi in Barnaul.
The monument depicts the musician in his brand-name posture with his head thrown back and aside and holding a guitar in his hands. The statue will be established on the Socialist Avenue, near the Altay State Teachers Training Academy.
The idea of creation of the monument and the main financing belonged to the sportsman, performer and businessman Alexander Starygin, well- known in the Altay Territory. To raise money for Viktor Tsoi monument, he gave more than ten charity concerts. But, unfortunately, the initiator of the monument in Barnaul hasn't lived to see the unveiling of the monument Alexander Starygin unexpectedly passed away on October, 29th.
