Who is killing journalists? Versions

Oleg Kashin, correspondent of Kommersant newspaper was attacked by two unknown persons near his place in the centre of Moscow on the Novermber on Friday night. Oleg Kashin was beaten so cruelly, that it looks like a murder attempt and not hooliganism.
The incident happened on the November, 6 at 00.40. The criminals stab Kashin in the back and broke his jaw, leg and fingers. Kashin was hospitalized to emergency room of City hospital Number 36 and is still there. Kashin's Colleagues tie this incident with his professional activity, who used to write about society and politics. Severe beating of the journalist has caused public response.
First version ties the murder attempt with that Kashin wrote about defenders of Khimki forest (which can be chopped down for building a new highway Moscow-St. Petersburg). Injuries Kashin suffered, look like those got Mikhail Beketov, chief editor of Khimkinskaya Pravda newspaper, beaten last year. Moreover, ecology activist and Khimki forest defender Konstantin Fetisov was attacked in Khimki short before Kashin, on the November, 4. He is also still in reanimation.
The second one is tied with Pskov Region governor Andrey Turchak. Oleg abused in his blog and refused to apologize. Some people suppose Turchak could want to pay off. The governor's press secretary said Turchak wished Kashin getting well at the nearest time and refused to give any comments before the investigation finishes.
Finally, it could be Young Guards of United Russia, who published materials containing threats in the journalist's address on their web site. They have already removed those materials Kashin was called "information diversionist". The text was illustrated by a picture of Kashin with stamp "to be punished". Their representative has answered to Kommersant Publishing House almost the same like Andrey Turchak' secretary.
