Joint Russian and German expedition “Tiger’s Path”, during which participants traveled around Ussurian taiga and followed Siberian tigers, ended recently.
The expedition was aimed at attracting attention to the problem of Siberian tigers, which are an endangered species with only several hundred giant cats left on our planet.
Expedition members visited national parks and met biologists, involved into nature and Siberian tiger conservation. They also planted cedars and constructed saline licks for hoofed mammals.
Adventures on the tiger path can be followed in internet, where expedition members run blogs and post videos.
