The wild fire appeared two days ago in the northern part on Mordovia National Nature Reserve, next to the city of Sarov (Republic of Mordovia), where the Federal Nuclaer Centre is situated, has increased. Three teams of fire-fighters are drawn to the reserve for suppression thie fire, which can threaten the nuclear centre.
The fire has broken out because of striking of lighting into a pine-tree. By the way, the heat wave in the Central Russia is now varied with thunderstorms. The area of fire is not specified. 2, 600 people and 200 machine units are doing their best in the fighting with this fire. New fires are still breaking out.
The Russian anomal weather and wild fires caused by it are considered in the society in different ways. Many people believe that such a situation could be avoided and blame the state and local administrations in nonfeasance, others speak about invincible nature and global climate changes. Anyway, changes which can be caused by fire in the nuclear centre will be much more serious than we have now.
