Hotels of St. Petersburg and its suburbs are 100% full. High demand is no wonder, summer is a high season for northern capital. But now you should book hotel in advance, because different public from Moscow running away from the city suffering from smog.
      
      Families with children occupy suburbs, booking mainly two weeks, the solo travellers prefer city and stay only for a weekend. The hotels have even worked out special discounts for Muscovites, which reaches 50% in prestigious hotels (Park Inn St. Petersburg, Park Inn Nevsky, Radisson SAS Royal), because one half of the rooms there are occupied with guests from the capital.
