First Russian plant for producing compact luminescent lamps will appear in Novosibirsk.
These lamps will be a part of the programme on effective use of energy resources. The plant will have full cycle of lamp production and waste utilization with capacity of 10 million lamps per year.
The project will have two stages – first is lamp assembly form foreign components, and second – full cycle of domestic luminescent lamp production.
Legal regulations of the Russian Federation provide substitution of incandescent lamps with energy-saving and cost effective lamps by 2015.
