Russians In Shanghai – EXPO 2010

Russian scientists brought to China several inventions, which make a dream about an ideal city come true.

First one is called “Brain-Computer”, a communication system for controlling objects directly by brain without any physical action. This interface will help many disabled people, who would become able to print via virtual keyboard or control a wheelchair.

A “Smart Desk” device will help paralyzed people to work with a touch screen, audio and video devices: print, surf the web and talk on the phone. The “Smart Desk”, fully controlled by voice, is fixed on a bracket and fit to a body’s position.

“ART Multitouch” technology works with 3D graphics for making various visual materials with extremely high quality.

“RusAvtobus” service helps finding ways from one point to another using all kinds of public transport not only in Moscow, but in many cities of the world, as well as between them.

An intellectual surveillance system “Macroscope” allows collecting and processing data from surveillance cameras and identifying objects in video stream – an ideal way to find a criminal in big city.
