Two new series about Cheburashka released by Japan

The famous Soviet cartoon Cheburashka, created 40 years ago, has received the second life thanks to the joint work of Russian and Japanese film makers.
They have released the puppet cartoon remake Crocodile Gena and have created two absolutely new series about characters friendship, Cheburashka and Circus and Shapoklyaks Advice. The work has taken five years to be completed.
The premiere of the two new films was held in Tokyo in school at the Embassy of Russia. The cartoon director Makoto Nakamura said first of all it was important for him to know the Russian audience opinion. The reactions of spectators was great, children laughed and that was the best result of his work.
Cheburashka came to Japan in 2001 and immediately won the hearts of the Japanese. Now the character created by writer Eduard Uspensky, is surrounded by the whole world, i.e. comics, souvenirs, and of course new cartoons.
