The 1st of June will see the unveiling of the memorial dedicated to the victims of Beslan.
The unveiling ceremony will take place on the square in front of the Church of Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Kulishki in Moscow.
The art composition was offered by the President of Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli.
It is a reminder that on the 1st of September 2004 a group of terrorists seized School #1 in Beslan. The act of terrorism caused death to more than 300 people, the majority of which were children.
The choice of the place for monument installation is not casual - in 1996 with the blessing of His Holiness Alexis II Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia the Church of Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Kulishki was transferred to the Moscow Ossetian community.
