Remix of the legendary film The Needle (Igla) directed by Rashid Nugmanov will be released in Russia in September 2010.
      
      The Needle Remix is an absolutely new version of the Soviet blockbuster starring Viktor Tsoi. On the one hand, it is really a new release of the cult underground movie. On the other hand, it is a remake with reediting, rescoring and director's additions in the scenario, which transformed a neo-noir film from the past into a fresh work of art with the advent of new plot lines.
      
      Specially for The Needle Remix additional shootings with characters of the old movie - Pyotr Mamonov and Aleksandr Bashirov - who debuted in the film Needle have been made.
      
      The Remix will also have cartooned comics-style fragments featuring Viktor Tsoy. Besides, it will present a new soundtrack created by members of the Kino band that have gathered together for the first time in 20 years to work on it.
