The rates for the excise tax and the tax on the extraction of natural resources, specifically of gas, have to be indexed, ruled the State Duma by passing the amendments to Chapters 22 and 26 of the RF Tax Code.
      
      
       Excise duty on wines, except for natural ones, is set at 112 roubles ($4) per litre against the current 95 roubles ($3.4). The price for natural ones is at 2.20 roubles ($0.08), and that for champagne is at 10.50 roubles ($0.38).
      
      
       Filtered cigarettes have an extra 78 roubles ($2.79) for 1,000 items plus 7% of the POS price (a 20% increase), while the price for non-filtered cigarettes is 35 roubles ($1.25) for the same amount plus 8% (a 25% increase) of the POS price. The law incorporates several other updates while the excises for oil products have been retained.
      
      
       382 deputies voted for the bill with 46 against and no abstentions.
