In April 2007 the regular flights Moscow-Karachi were halted due to a shortage of aircraft. Since April 1, 2008, A-310 planes start flying from Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow to Karachi via Dubai.

An ice entertainment complex, including a hotel, is to be built in St. Petersburg. The idea will be brought to life by the same company that built an ice copy of the palace of empress Inna Ioannovla in Palace Square of the city.

After the recent crash of a SU-25 aircraft in the Russia’s Far East flights of all SU-25 strike jets were suspended. However, it is reported that despite the ban, SU-25 aircraft will take part in Victory parade in Moscow on the 9th of May and will fly over the city.
