Russia and Japan have made agreements on formation of a permanent expert group for developing a project of construction a high-speed railway Moscow-Nizhniy Novgorod based on technologies of Japanese trains Shinkansen that can reach speed of over 300km/h.

The Europeans say they will participate in the summit only if Russia abolishes the fee for flying over Trans-Siberian territory set for foreign airlines, while the Russian Ministry of Transport is not ready to do that.
