Tsiolkovsky Konstantin Eduardovich (1857 - 1935), the founder of the modern cosmonautics, is born. He develops the theory of creating spaceships that is later put into reality by his followers.

1773—Beginning of Pugachev's revolt
Emelyan Pugachev published a manifesto, where he called himself the Emperor Peter the Third, and was calling cossacks for military service in exchange for privilegies.Since this day the peasant revolt started.
