1960—First living creatures are back on Earth returning from Space.
Two dogs Belka and Strelka and several rats and mice land safely and healthy. The spaceship started on August 19 from the Soviet Baikonur Cosmodrome.

1721—Opening of the fountain system in Peterhof
Peter the Great decided to launch the system of fountains in his world-famous country residence known as Peterhof.The system contains of Big Cascade,Samson,Dragon Cascade, Cascade "Golden Mountain" and several spectacular fountains.
