1710—Tzarskoe Selo is built near St. Petersburg.
Tzarskoe Selo is a famous monument of world architecture and landscape architecture. In XVIII – early XX the Russian Emperors used it as their main out-of-town residence. Many famous architects, sculptors, painters incarnated here the Emperors’ designs. From 1811 through 1834 the Imperial Tzarskoselsky Lyceum is located here. Many well-known people have been educated here, including Alexander Pushkin. At present time it is a museum-resort.
