1872—Leonid Sobinov, opera singer, is born.
He performs on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre for 36 years and wins the world recognition. He also sings in the best European theatres, music lovers from all over the world come to see his performance in La Scala. He is called “Heaven-born Lyrical Tenor”, “Orpheus of Russian Stage”. One of his favourite parts is Lensky in “Eugene Onegin” by Tchaykovsky.
