1896—The first film view in Russia takes place in the Aquarium Garden in St. Petersburg.
In between two acts of the operetta “Alfred-pasha in Paris” people are offered a ten-minute show, consisting of various short films by Lumiere brothers – “Arrival of a train to a station” and others.
