1815—Peter Yershov, poet, is born.
Peter Yershov at the age of 19 writes a fairy tale in verses “Konyok-Gorbunok”, which later becomes a classic Russian fairy tale. After reading it Alexander Pushkin says, “Now I can leave this genre.”
