1863—Fyodor Sologub, writer, poet, is born.
In 1918 Sologub is elected as chairman of the Council of Union of Literature Figures, in 1925 he becomes chairman of Leningrad Writers’ Union Section of Literature for Children, in 1926 he is the chairman of the Union. Sologub is one of the most famous poets of “the Silver Age of Russian poetry”, also he is a Symbolism theorist.
