Dates in History
1815—The first voyage of the first Russian steamship Elizaveta from St. Petersburg to Kronstadt and back.
The wooden ship is built by English mechanic Charles Berd who serves in Russia since 1786. It takes the steamship eight and a half hours to get to Kronstadt.
