1906—Alexey Stakhanov, miner, is born.
He is known for accomplishing 14 times more work than he was required to due to implementing division of duties into mining. The idea of accomplishing more within the same time period developes into the Stakhanovsky movement, when everybody is expected to work in excess of planned rate.
