Dates in History
1954—The first nuclear power station starts working in Obninsk in the Moscow Oblast.
The output of the station is 5 megawatt. In 1951 the Soviet Government entrusts to the famous scientist Igor Kurchatov construction of the first nuclear power plant, which is set to become the example of the peaceful usage of the nuclear power.
