The first Presedent of Russia Boris Yeltsin died of heart failure

1891—Sergey Prokofyev, composer, is born.
At the age of six Sergey Prokofyev writes cycles of piano pieces, at the age of nine he writes a children opera. In 1922 he moves to Germany, and in 1923 to France. In 1933 he returns to Russia. Here he creates his best works: ballets “Romeo and Juliet” (1935) and “Cinderella” (1944); children fairy tale for an elocutionist and an orchestra “Peter and Wolf” (1936); soundtracks to the films “Lieutenant Kizhe” (1934), “Alexander Nevsky” (1938), and “Ivan the Terrible” (1945).
