1932—Andrey Tarkovsky, film director, is born.
Andrey Tarkovsky is famous for his works “Andrey Rublev”, “Solaris”, “Stalker”, and “The Mirror”, which gain him international fame. He also puts on two plays – “Hamlet” and “Boris Godunov”. The central theme of his works is the idea of a person acquiring his/her spiritual integrity through faith, love, and penance. In 1990, four years after his death, he is granted the Lenin’s Prize.
