Dates in History
1890—Boris Parternak, poet, writer, is born.
In 1958 he receives Nobel Prize in literature for his poems and novel “Doctor Zhivago”.

1837—Alexander Pushkin, poet, dies.
In November 1836 Pushkin and some of his friends receive by post anonymous lampoons insulting to poet’s honor and honor of his wife. As a result of thought-out insidious plot there is a duel between Pushkin and his wife’s admirer French immigrant Dantes on January 27, 1837. Pushkin is wounded in the stomach and dies in two days. His obituary says, that “The Sun of our poetry has set!”
