1920—Alexander Kolchak, leader of Russian opposition during the Civil War of 1917-1922, dies.
In 1918 Alexander Kolchak proclaims himself Supreme Regent of Russia, fights against Bolsheviks, but in 1920 after his army is defeated he resigns from the post of Supreme Regent. In 1920 he is captured by Czechoslovaks and extradited to Soviet Russia, where he is secretly executed according to Lenins personal request.

1710—Peter the Great orders to count the countrys revenue and expenditure for the first time in Russian history.
It turns out that the revenue is 3 051 796 rubles, whereas the expenditure is 3 834 418 rubles.

1693—Anna Ioannovna, Russian Empress, is born.
Her reign (17301740) is sometimes referred to as Bironovshina, because Biron, Annas lover, actually rules Russia during this period. Most of the governmental positions are occupied by Germans. Biron doesnt like Russians, Russians are often repressed and executed for no other reason than not agreeing with Birons politics.
