1928—Anastasia Tchaykovskaya comes to New York claiming that she is the daughter of the last Russian Emperor.
Anastasia says that purpose of her coming to New York is to treat her jaw, which is supposedly broken by a Bolsheviks bayonet. Anastasia meets with Gleb Botkin, son of Emperors personal doctor killed along with the Emperor and his family. Gleb Botkin recognizes Anastasia as the girl with whom he used to play in his childhood. In 1950s all Anastasias claims are officially rejected.

1918—A decree is issued in Soviet Russia on adopting Gregorian calendar instead of Julian.
This means that in 1918 right after January 31 comes February 14, because the difference between two calendars is 13 days in XX century.

1900—Russian scientist Alexander Popov is the first in the world to transmit radio signal
After hard investigation work Popov was able to transmit the radio signal of sea disaster in Finnish Gulf,which led to adoption of radio connection in Russian fleet.
