At present North Caucasus State Technical University is a huge educational and research complex. The heading is in Stavropol, branches are in Nevinnomyssk - Nevinnomyssk Technological Institute, in the cities of Pyatigorsk, Georgievsk, Kislovodsk. There also exist such institutions as Institute for Intensive Training (crash course), Distant Learning Faculty, and Interdisciplinary Regional Centre for Advanced Training and Retraining. The University also has branches in the republics of Kalmykia, North-Osetia, Ingushetia, Karachayevo-Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria. North Caucasus Humanitarian Technical Institute is also established on the basis of the University.
NCSTU is actively integrating into international educational system. The University participates in international educational projects and has cooperation and student exchange agreements with educational and research centers in the USA, Canada, West Europe, South-Eastern Asia and Africa.
More than 15 thousand Russian and foreign students are getting education at NCSTU in 50 technical, natural science, economic and humanitarian specialities.

Admission:
The following documents should be submitted by an applicant:

• Personal application submitted by foreign citizen to compete for being admitted to the chosen course;
• Educational certificate equivalent to Russian Federation state educational document (necessary for being admitted to the appropriate stage of higher vocational education);
• Certified Russian translation of applicant’s educational certificate;
• Assignment to study given by Russian Federation Ministry of Education, or appropriate tuition fee contract signed by a higher educational institution, including the document confirming payment specified in the contract;
• Satisfying results of chosen course entrance examinations according to current admission regulations;
