Russian language courses are available at all levels for a minimum of 4 weeks throughout the academic year. On arrival students have a short, informal interview before being placed in a class at the appropriate level. The number of students per language class is 5 - 8. Upon completion of the course participants will be awarded with a certificate of attendance. The programmes are designed to satisfy individual needs in a group setting. Small classes ensure that each student gets personal attention from our well-qualified and friendly staff. The chief aim of training is to build and develop Russian language competence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Particular emphasis will be placed on the following items:

• Fluency and accuracy in oral communication;
• General listening for both understanding and information;
• General reading comprehension skills;
• Writing skills;
• Vocabulary development;
• Russian grammar in everyday situations;

In our Centre it is also possible to pass a Training Course For Teachers Of Russian As A Foreign Language and to take Russian As A Foreign Language Examinations.

General conditions of payment

Tuition fees should be paid before the beginning of the course.
Money can be transferred to the account indicated by the Center or paid in cash to the bank in Moscow. All operational expenses as well as expenses connected with transfer of money into US $ or encashment of cheques are born by the payer.

Course fees are calculated on complete weeks, including weeks with public holidays.

Fees are not transferable to other institutions or students.

If a student withdraws from a course, we regret that no refund can be made for the session commenced.

The amount of US $50 per person has to be paid as administrative fee on arrival to the Center.

Accommodation fees are not included in tuition fees and should be paid in cash in Moscow. The Center provides accommodation for the period in which students are enrolled at the Center.
