Russian Academy’s of Medical Sciences Bakulev’s Scientific Center of Cardiovascular Surgery offers a unique opportunity to train at the residency and prepare for a Ph.D. or Doctoral thesis defence.

Moscow citizens are eligible for free academic education, but as for other students from Russia, Community of Independent States (CIS) and foreign countries, they have to pay tuition fees, which are listed below:
For Russian and CIS citizens the training lasts 2 or three years and costs 32 thousand rubles per year (about $1200). Foreign students have to pay 64 thousand rubles for 2-year residency, 84 thousand rubles for 2-years PhD thesis preparation and 96 thousand rubles for 3-year Doctor thesis preparation. Latter prices are for the whole training course.

- Academic Senate of medical Institute recommendation – for “academic” form of tuition.
- Reference.
- Diploma + attested copy of diploma (copy should be attested in the last place of study or work).
- Diploma supplement (with its attested copy).
- Autobiography.

- Medical form (086-Y) with certificate confirming the absence of AIDS, HbsAg, RW.
- Personnel department registration form.
- Attested copy of work record card – for those who work.
- Loose-leaf binder.
- Joining post-graduate scientific research (Ph.D. thesis preparation):
- Written statement.
- List of published materials or written report.
- Reference.
- Diploma + attested copy of diploma (copy should be attested in the last place of study or work).
- Autobiography.

- Work record card + attested copy of work record card – for those who work.
