The Foundation for the popularization of classical music "Opera" under the leadership of Vera Kononova presents the new concert program "Masterpieces of the World Musical" in Moscow. The most popular artists of Russian musicals will perform masterpieces on one stage, accompanied by the State Wind Orchestra under the conductorship of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Andrei Kolotushkin.

The concert will present to the audience the famous musical masterpieces by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Astor Piazzolla, Leonard Bernstein, and George Gershwin as performed by the stars of Moscow musicals.  

The concert program includes arias from the musicals "The Cats", "Phantom of the Opera", "Jesus Christ the Superstar", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Evita", "West Side Story", "Porgy and Bess", and "Maria from Buenos Aires."

The concert will feature Oksana Kostetskaya, the "queen of the Russian musical", a Russian stage and film actress, the winner of the national theater prize "Golden Mask", the soloist of musicals "Nord-Ost" (Art Project), "The Cats”, "The Beauty and the Beast" (Stage Entertainment) , "Monte Cristo", "The Count of the Eagles" (Operetta Theater), "I Do not Choose Times," "Life is Beautiful!", "Everything About Cinderella" (Musical Theater), and Scarlet Sails (Russian Musical).

Elena Moiseyeva is the star of Moscow and St. Petersburg musical stage, and the star of the Russian musical in general.
Igor Balalaev is the leading artist of the Moscow musical, a stage and film actor.
Alexander Koltsov is a stage and film actor.
Vera Kononova is the author of the project and a famous lyrical and dramatic soprano.
