"...What I tell you three times is true" (Lewis Carroll, "Hunting of the Snark" ).

Who is Vasilyeva? A hero who was brave enough to make a stand against the system? Betrayer committed a bad crime, having let her boss down and discredited all the Russian system of law? Was it provocation or showing lack of determination?

Not long ago an information appeared in press, that a textbook on Russian history, 20th century, written by Moscow State University professors Vdovin and Barsenkov for students as additional manual, contains extremist materials, spreading racial hatred.

The process againts curators of the exhibition Taboo-Art 2006 is going on for already two years. It was an exhibition, which was considered by the religious cociety as offensive one. The problem is that a part of Russian society in all seriousness supposes that curators of such exhibition (where Judas kisses Mickey Mouse) should spend three years behind the bars.

Rammstein has just given the second show in Moscow on the stadium of Olympiysky, and Metallica is awaited in April. I was at this show after a long break in visiting big stadium shows. And I have noticed that things are different today. I am going to share my ridiculous experience with you.

Animal rights activists suppose the animals are also the members of our society and should have their rights. They are right: pushing the analogy further, we see that the homeless animals are just the same, like the homeless people.

There are many articles about nasty Russian tourists with their awful behavior abroad. Unfortunately, it is a fact. It’s a pity all the more, because the people in the European countries used to judge by them the whole nation. I can’t help but ask myself questions...

Empty Hills is an open-air festival of the free creativity, which includes different genres of music, master-classes in various activities (dances, yoga, etc), shows and theatre performances, art objects, etc. It has been held every summer since 2003. This year things were all in a tumble because of the weather.

Foreigners note that the Muscovites are a little bit unfriendly and anxious public. They are always in hurry and nobody knows how to go to the museum or simply the nearest metro station. The most interesting is that almost nobody knows English to answer the simple questions. Is seems strange that all the habitats of the city have nothing in common except some negative characteristics, informing us what they don’t know, don’t want, don’t understand. I suppose it is curious

The problem of matriarchate lives on the printed pages and in our heads from the 19th century. As for me, I am definitely persuaded that a real matriarchate (social system were the women dominate) is our future. There are some reasons making me to think so.
