The title Free Floating says almost nothing of the film; neither is the initial title Road Works more speaking. The film director Boris Khlebnikov dislikes both the titles: “The genre of parable is extremely vexing. I always want to film simple stories. About Vasya, or about Petya…”


Away from insane bustling crowds of a grim snowless megapolis and into the serene snow-white realm of Russian antiquity! On one of the delightful days of Christmas and New Year vacations we found ourselves in a Russian fairy tale, with mysterious silence of endless expanses, fir trees and junipers, ancient wooden buildings, and picturesque banks of the Kama River.


Following the concert of Current 93 another “Gothic tinted” band no less remarkable for Moscow music lovers has recently visited the Russian capital. Woven Hand gave one concert in Moscow in the framework of its European tour supporting the new album "Mosaic".

The two concerts of the English band Current 93 given in Moscow club “IKRA” on September 23 and 24 were announced in posters as ‘hours of magic for the initiated’.


There was time when Russians were haunted by the importunate idol of Lenin – today this place has been taken by Harry Potter.
