Five Russian enterprises were listed in the ranking of the best employers by Forbes.
The ranking of the best employers in the world, according to Forbes, was for the second time in a row led by the “GoogleAlphabet” parent company. The second and third lines of the ranking are also taken by American companies - Microsoft and Apple, respectively.
The top ten of the ranking included six US companies, including Amazon and Disney, as well as two German companies (Daimler and BMW Group), a company from Hong Kong (CNOOC) and a Thai company (Kasikornbank).
In general, American corporations became the leaders in terms of representations in the ranking, the latter included a total 500 companies: these are 185 American enterprises and 80 companies from the PRC and Hong Kong.
Russian enterprises were not listed in the first hundred of the best employers, according to Forbes; however five of them are present in the list.
The highest position belongs to the Moscow Exchange which ranked 117th. It is followed by Surgutneftegaz (167th line), United Aircraft Building Corporation (278th line), Aeroflot (341st line) and Lukoil (450th line).
The Moscow Stock Exchange is the largest Russian stock holding established in 2011 as a result of the merger of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) founded in 1992 and the RTS (Russian Trading System) established in 1995. Moscow Exchange is the organizer of trade in stocks, bonds, derivatives, currency, money market instruments, precious metals and grain.
