From February 7 to March 6, the Ministry of Finance will allocate additional oil and gas revenues in the amount of 298.1 billion rubles for purchasing currency. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
The daily volume of currency purchases will cost 15.7 billion rubles, the report says. The additional oil and gas revenues of the federal budget this February will amount to 293.6 billion rubles, the Finance Ministry predicts. The total deviation of the actual oil and gas revenues received from the expected monthly volume and the deviation of the base monthly volume from its estimate for January amounted to 4.5 billion rubles. Foreign currency is purchased for an amount that is determined as a difference from the assessment of oil and gas revenues of the federal budget.
Therefore, from January 15 to February 6, the Ministry of Finance planned to purchase foreign currency on the domestic market by 257.1 billion rubles of additional revenues from oil received in January. In December 2017, 204 billion rubles were spent on the purchase of currency.
