The Russians Spent 890 Billion Rubles On the Purchase Of New Cars

For the  last six months Russians spent 890 billion rubles on the purchase of new cars. It is noted that this is by 10 percent more than during the same period last year.

Earlier it was reported that more than 25 billion rubles were spent by Russians on luxury brands. Another 70 billion were spent for SUVs and crossovers.

The leader in revenue in the domestic market is Toyota, which received 100 billion rubles from the sale of new cars. KIA occupied the second place with the indicator of 93 billion rubles. The top three leaders of the domestic brand is closed by Lada that earned 75 billion rubles.

On July 26 it became known that the average prices for new cars in Russia increased by 17 percent for the year. The increase in cost has made from 21 to 28 percent with the brands as Audi, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz and Mazda.
