Starting from the beginning of 2016 three Russian startups have received investments of 13.1 million rubles on a croudinvesting platform StartTrack. This is stated in the press-release, published by Lenta.ru.
The leader in investments was the company FootyBall. From the beginning of 2016 the company received 10.1 million rubles. In 2015 the company has already drawn 33.4 million rubles. The company is a network of junior football clubs that has already opened two affiliates for boys from the age 3 to 6 near the metro station Perovo and in Victory Park.
The second place in this chart goes to BeautyDiscountCenter. In January this startup has attracted 1.5 million rubles. In 2015 private investors have invested 10.7 million rubles in the project. Also in January 2016 the company BASH!Today has found an investor using StartTrack and has signed a contract worth 2.5 million rubles. BASH!Today is a loft booking service for events. “We are very happy with the dynamics. It’s no secret that many experts predicted a lull in investments in 2016”, said the CEO of StartTreck Konstantin Shabalin. “We didn’t expect it ourselves given that the year is usually a very calm period (especially with the current volatility in the currency market) will bring so many deals. It turns out that we were wrong. The startups today interest investors a lot. The angels of business don’t want to lose their income in time of crisis. They seek new ways to hold on to and multiply their savings”, he summed up.
In 2015 the Russian startups have drawn to StartTrack 115.5 million rubles. This came from the 59 deals made in that year. Investments were made to 11 different projects.
