The International Union of Commercial Organizations of China and the Middle Ural Development Corporation signed an agreement providing for bringing Chinese companies to the territory of the Russian-Chinese Business Park that is being created. This was reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.Ru”. The signing ceremony was held at the International Industrial Exhibition “Innoprom-2015” in Yekaterinburg. We speak, first of all, of the companies engaged in trade in high-tech goods, as well as of joint production with the enterprises of Sverdlovsk Oblast.

According to the Director General of the Middle Urals Development Corporation Dmitry Popov, preliminary agreements with the Chinese online shops are already signed. The company explained to “Lenta.Ru” that they meant the largest online retailers of China - AliExpress, Taobao, JD.com and others.

“We also will sign an agreement with the People’s Government of the Chinese city of Harbin today, which will concern the establishment of a centre of cross-border e-commerce in the Urals. This will be a logistics centre allowing the Russians to buy goods on electronic platforms such as, for example, Alibaba and JD.com” - the representative of the Ural Corporation noted. According to him, the parties will determine the construction site of the warehouse where Chinese companies will be able to store their goods for online sales in Russia.

Moreover, he added that the possibility of granting customs preferences will minimize the cost and terms of receiving these orders by the buyers from Russia. The Russian-Chinese business park is being built on the area of 400 thousand square meters at the operating trade and warehouse complex near the Yekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport. The site for trade and production between Russian companies and Chinese enterprises will include office, warehouse and industrial premises. The complex will unite the infrastructure (an open temporary storage warehouse with a customs post, a loading point with a railroad) and the management company providing supporting services of “customs clearance” and of cargo transportation in Russia.

Trade and warehouse areas of 250 thousand square meters are ready now, another 30 thousand square meters will be built by August 2015. The International Union of Commercial Organizations of China unites industrial companies of China. The average turnover of the union members makes up no less than 500 million dollars a year.
